Passengers may not find the reservation chart pasted on reserved coaches of all trains originating from New Delhi, Hazrat Nizamuddin, Mumbai Central, Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Chennai Central, Howrah, and Sealdah, following a decision by the Ministry of Railways. The step will be taken on an experimental basis for three months.
The instructions, on the same, have been issued to the concerned authorities in a circular to Railway Zones concerned recently.
Earlier on November 8, 2016, in a similar initiative, the South Western Railway’s Bengaluru Division (SBC) decided not to paste charts on reserved coaches of all trains originating from Bengaluru City and Yeshwantpur Railway Stations as a part of green initiative.
