The executive director of Petroleum Conservation & Research Association (PCRA), Alok Tripathi, flagged off a publicity van on Tuesday that will tour villages in the interior to spread messages of conservation of fuel and energy.
Tripathi said “The PCRA is engaged in promoting conservation of fossil fuels. Activities like energy audits and driver training programmes have been conducted across the country in the organized sector.
Taking cognizance of the disparity in the unorganized sector, the PCRA has initiated this van publicity programme across all states.”
The programme includes screening of films on fuels and energy-saving tips to increase awareness among public, especially among school children, homemakers, drivers and farmers in remote villages and workers in the industrial sector. Read More
