Petrol and diesel prices increased again by 10-15 paise on Friday. The retail price of petrol in Delhi was Rs 71.29 per litre, diesel cost Rs 66.48a litre. Retail petrol price in Mumbai was Rs 76.93, while diesel cost Rs 69.63.
Petrol prices went up approximately Rs 2.40 a litre and Rs 2.50 per litre in Delhi and Mumbai, respectively. Diesel prices have been increased by Rs 3.57 a litre and Rs 3.79 per litre, respectively.
People in Kolkata have to pay Rs 73.39 for a litre of petrol, while a litre of diesel cost Rs 68.27 in Kolkata. In Chennai, petrol was retailing at Rs 74.02, while diesel price climbed to Rs 70.25, according to data from the Indian Oil Corporation website.
In Noida, a litre of petrol costs Rs 71 while diesel costs Rs 65.58. In Gurugram, petrol costs Rs 71.84 a litre and diesel Rs 65.99. In Faridabad, petrol and diesel cost Rs 72.06 a litre and Rs 66.21, respectively. Read More
