State-run controlled oil marketing companies kept the retail prices of petrol and diesel stagnant across major cities of the country on Saturday (June 22). In national capital Delhi, petrol is being sold for Rs 69.93 per litre while diesel costs Rs 63.78 a litre, no change compared with Friday’s price.
It is worth mentioning here that the fuel prices in the national capital Delhi are the cheapest among all metros and most state capitals due to lower taxes. On Saturday, the pump price of petrol remained unchanged for the sixth successive day across the country.
