Petrol, diesel prices unchanged for third consecutive day. Check rates here

State-run oil companies chose to keep the retail prices of petrol and diesel static across major cities of the country for the third successive day on Wednesday (June 19). In national capital Delhi, petrol is being sold for Rs 69.93 per litre while diesel costs Rs 63.84 a litre, no change compared with yesterday’s price.

It is worth noting that the fuel prices in the national capital Delhi are the cheapest among all metros and most state capitals owing to lower taxes.

In Kolkata, people have to pay Rs 72.19 for a litre of petrol while diesel costs Rs 65.76 per litre, as per data available with Indian Oil Corp website. Similarly, in Mumbai, petrol and diesel are selling for Rs 75.63 a litre and Rs 66.93 per litre, no change in rates against Tuesday’s rates.

Citizens in Chennai have to shell out Rs 72.64 for a litre of petrol while diesel retailed at Rs 67.52 per litre. In Noida also, petrol price remained stagnant at Rs 69.94 and diesel price at Rs 63.32 a litre. Read more
