State-run oil marketing companies slashed the price of petrol by 6-7 paise but kept diesel prices unchanged across four major cities in the country on Saturday (May 18). In Delhi, petrol is priced at Rs 71.03 a litre, 7 paise less than yesterday’s rate of 71.10 per litre. Diesel in the national capital is unchanged at Rs 65.9. It may be noted that petrol and diesel rates in the national capital are the cheapest among all metros owing to lower taxes.
