Petrol prices fell after remaining stable for three straight session, while diesel prices remained unchanged across major cities on Friday. Petrol prices in Mumbai stood at Rs 76.02 a litre, and diesel rates were at Rs 68.65 per litre.
According to the Indian Oil Corp data, petrol rates per litre in New Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai, were at Rs 70.38, Rs 72.49 and Rs 73.05, respectively, while diesel prices stood at Rs 65.56, Rs 67.34 and Rs 69.25 for a litre.
