Union Minister Piyush Goyal on Friday launched a 5-megawatt peak (MWp) project of solar plants engineered by Vivaan Solar, a solar PV installation and development company at Hazrat Nizamuddin, Anand Vihar, Old Delhi and New Delhi stations.
Spread over 7000 Sq m with a capacity of 700 KWp and power generation of about 1,00,000 units, The Hazrat Nizamuddin plant is likely to save a total of 75 tonnes of carbon emission per month.
Similarly, the plant at Old Delhi railway station is of 1500 KWp capacity, generating 2, 00,000 units of power per month and saving 160 tonnes of carbon emission. Read More…
