Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday met Prince Albert II, the Head of the State of Monaco who arrived here in India on Monday for a week-long official visit.
In their meeting, the two leaders exchanged views on enhancing cooperation, especially in environment and climate change and renewable energy. MEA spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said that PM Modi warmly welcomed the Prince ahead of the bilateral meeting.
“India and Monaco established diplomatic relations in 2007, though our friendship goes back much further in time,” Kumar tweeted.
