Denmark’s Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CPH:VWS) on Saturday inaugurated a wind turbine blade production facility in the Indian state of Gujarat, news agency ANI reported.
The company also entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) that it hopes to convert into firm and unconditional orders tied to certain wind projects over the next three to four years.
The new factory is located in the Gallops Industrial Park, Bavla, Ahmedabad. It was built as part of Vestas’ commitment to support the Make in India initiative. Read More…
