Union Ministry of Power has accorded principle approval of Rs 450 crore for the Rs 1,350-crore scheme aimed at the development and modernisation of power sector in Gurugram. An amount of Rs 272 crore has already been approved under the scheme.
This was disclosed by union minister of State for power, coal, new and renewable energy, Piyush Goyal while interacting with the media persons soon after the meeting with Chief Minister Manohar Lal in New Delhi late last evening.
