In bid to provide updates regarding electricity supply to consumers, Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation (UPPCL) will be introducing ‘urja mitra’ mobile application on May 1, 2018.
The smartphone application will enable power consumers across the state to get information about their respective power distribution companies about power outages in their areas on their mobile.
Executive engineer at Madhyanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (MVVNL) PA Moga said, “The application will help consumers get real-time updates on scheduled powercuts by their respective discoms. Consumers will not have to make frequent calls to sub-stations to know about a local fault or any information related to electricity supply.” Read More
