As petrol and diesel prices touched a new high across the country on Saturday, Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan again defended his government that has come under a lot of fire recently.
Speaking at India Today Mind Rocks 2018 in New Delhi, Pradhan said international crude oil prices were to be blamed for skyrocketing fuel prices.
“International crude oil prices are high, which is not in our control. Despite that we have controlled inflation rates and price rise,” he told an audience gathered at Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. Read more
