Rajasthan has deployed ABB technologies, the power and automationtechnology group, for 40 per cent of clean solar powergenerated in the state, an official of the technology service provider company said.
The company has supplied solution for extraction and processing of ores in the mining sector. Almost half of the state’s cement plants run on ABB drives, automation and instrumentation solutions.
We have provided services to monitor and track supply at Jawai and Banswara water schemes apart from oilfield in Barmer, ABB managing director Sanjeev Sharma said here at a press conference.
He said that the state is set to take a quantum leap in solar energy with projections to double the capacity in the next two years to 5,000 MW. Read More…
