Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries (RIL) is looking at expanding the production capacity of it’s Special Economic Zone (SEZ) refinery at Gujarat’s Jamnagar to 41 million tonne per annum (MTPA) from the present 35.2 MTPA, an application submitted by the company to the Ministry of Environment and Forests and Climate Change (MoEFCC) stated.
The Expert Appraisal Committee would take up the environmental clearance application filed by RIL on December 19, MoEFCC’s PARIVESH portal showed.
