Second Extension Given to SECI’s 160 MW Solar-Wind Hybrid Tender with Storage

The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has extended the bid submission deadline yet again for 160 MW of solar-wind hybrid power project with battery energy storage system (BESS) at Ramagiri, located in Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh.

The new bid submission deadline is November 2, 2018. The bid will open on the same date. This is the second bid extension for this tender. Earlier, it was revised from October 1, 2018 to October 10, 2018.

Recently, SECI had amended the tender. According to the amendment, the percentage of mandatory spare modules supplied from within the country has been increased from 0.25 percent to 0.50 percent of the total supply of solar modules. Read More
