Indian Railway’s Integrated Coach Factory (ICF) at Chennai in collaboration with the Department of Post has released a commemorative stamp on India’s first semi-high speed train Vande Bharat. The stamp released is priced at Rs 5. At the time of release, both the Indian postal department and the Indian Railways officials informed that purpose of Vande Bharat Express stamp is to inform Indian millennials about India’s first semi-high speed train.
The Rs 5 stamp released by the Indian Railways and the Department of Post, Vande Bharat Express has been written both in Hindi and in English. It also informs that Vande Bharat Express is India’s first indigenously built semi-high speed train.
