NTPC authorities are mulling to curtail power generation and shut down power generating units due to short supply of coal.
The coal production in feeding Kaniha coalmine is down, the coal stock in the 3000 MW Kaniha power plant of NTPC has further plunged in to all time low of 30,000 tonne only, not enough to meet even a day’s requirement .
