Power equipment major Siemens Ltd has delivered yet another quarter of impressive revenue and profit growth, thanks to strong performance of all its key businesses.
Its net profit jumped by 50.7 per cent to Rs 163 crore in the April-June quarter. The company had reported profit of Rs 108 crore in the same period last year.
Revenue increased by 24.3 per cent to Rs 2,695 crore in the quarter. It had reported revenue of Rs 2,168 crore in the corresponding per last year.
“All our businesses have performed consistently well,” said company’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Sunil Mathur.
“While government spending continues in the transmission, distribution and railway segments, we are seeing the first signs of capex (capital expenditure) spending by the private sector as well,” Mathur added.
