Efforts taken by the South Central Railway (SCR) to adopt non-conventional energy have received recognition with the zone receiving four national awards from Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) for the year 2019 for adopting various energy conservation measures within its jurisdiction.
“The zone is the recipient of the highest number of awards among all zonal railways and central government organizations in the building sector that participated in the competition,” a press release issued by SCR said.
