The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation’s (IRCTC) special pilgrimage train to 6 destinations will depart from Chandigarh on September 28 at 6 pm. The train will cover 6 stations in its 8-day journey and will come back on October 6.
While giving information, an IRCTC manager said ticket bookings had already been started and the fare has been fixed at Rs 7,560 per person, including stay at local dharamshalas (rest houses).
Group general manager north zone of the IRCTC GM Singh said this would be the firsttimethat a pilgrimagetrain would depart from Jalandhar and would be routed via Chandigarh. Read more
