Various farmers unions held meetings here on Friday and decided not to allow Power officials to detach power supply of those who involved in paddy straw burning as directed by National Green Tribunal, at any cost.
After the meeting, Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU) Ekta Ugrahan president Joginder Singh Ugrahan asked the NGT to check the progress of it’s directions implemented by the State Government first, before taking such actions against farmers.
The state government is failed to implement the directions of the tribunal to bring awareness, providing of
