For the second day in a row on Wednesday, petrol and diesel prices were left unchanged despite a fall in global crude oil prices, according to Indian Oil Corporation (IOC). One litre of petrol was being sold in national capital New Delhi for Rs. 76.84, in Kolkata for 79.51, in Mumbai for Rs. 84.22, and in Chennai for Rs. 79.76.
Petrol and diesel prices were unchanged for the 14th straight day, applicable from 6:00 a.m. on 7th May 2018. Under the dynamic pricing scheme, petrol and diesel prices are revised on a daily basis in sync with global crude oil prices.
