Tata Power-Delhi Distribution Ltd today said it has launched energy efficient LED lighting and ceiling fan scheme fot its customers under the government’s UJALA programme.
The company said under this scheme, launched with Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL), LED lighting products and BEE five-star ceiling fans would be offered to the consumers at special discounted rates.
For example, a nine watt bulb would be offered at Rs 65 per piece, 20 watt LED tubelight at Rs 230 per piece, and BEE five-star rated ceiling fan at Rs 1.150 a piece.
“TATA Power-DDL’s main intent behind promoting the UJALA Scheme is to increase the penetration of energy efficient LED lighting products and ceiling fans among its customer base which will result in energy saving and reduction in electricity bills,” Tata Power said.
The energy efficient products will provide competitive pricing and warranty to its patrons. Furthermore, this will build efficient load management and will increase awareness about energy efficient technologies, it added.
Tata Power said the programme will be run for a year, beginning from February 7. Tata Power-DDL consumers can purchase LED lighting products and Five Star Ceiling Fans from the Kiosks or Sales Counters set up at all Customer Care Centers during 10.00 am to 3.00 p.m. (Monday to Friday) and 10:00 am to 12.30 pm (Saturday).
