The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) on Wednesday announced it will undertake a study to identify and assess energy saving investment opportunities in various key sectors in the state. The institute has assured the state government to impart advanced technologies to implement energy efficiency in the state.
Speaking at a three-day international conference in New Delhi, TERI director general Ajay Mathur said the institute was planning to interact with national and international agencies and banks like KFW, Germany to support energy efficiency programs in AP for its cost-effective implementation which will immensely benefit the state.
“The energy efficiency measures will help AP for strengthening power sector and achieving quick results in various key sectors including agriculture, industries, transportation and building sector, etc.” Read more
