Several trains will remain cancelled and some will be short terminated or short originated due to electronic interlocking work at Amritsar station in the Ferozepur division of the Northern Railway (NR) from July 17 to 31.
The NR public relations officer (PRO) Kultar said the trains towards Amritsar would remain affected due to the ongoing construction works and that the work would be completed in the allotted time. He said to execute work Northern Railways will take traffic blocks up to August 1.
Apart from these long-distance trains, some passenger trains running from Amritsar towards Qadia, Atari and Jalandhar City will remain cancelled from July 19 to 31.
Trains from Amritsar towards Pathankot and Hisar would remain cancelled from July 21 to 31. Trains will also remained cancelled from Hisar – Ludhiana – Hisar from July 22 to 31, and Hisar – Ludhiana – Hisar from July 23 to 31. Read More
