Several commuters are facing inconvenience due to delay in the arrival of most long route trains in the city railway station. Passengers waiting for trains to Bihar and UP seemed more impatient, as their trains were running late by several hours. On Friday, 12412 Pooja Express from Ajmer to Jammu Tawi arrived at Ludhiana about ten hours late at 1.20pm, instead of 3.20am.
Passengers waiting for Pooja Express were seem thumping the window of inquiry counters, seeking information about alternative trains to reach their destination. Arun Arora, a student who was at the station to catch the Pooja Express, stated to TOI: “I got a shock when I came to know that Pooja Express is running late by ten hours. Now, I am going back to the bus stand to catch a bus for Jaipur, because I have to reach Jaipur on Saturday at any cost to attend an interview for a job at an education institute. Read More…
