The locals have been demanding two stations for 10 years and their efforts finally paid off.
The Central Railway has announced two new railway stations between Kasara and Kalyan — Umbarmali and Thansit.
The move will pave way for better amenities at these stations.
“As both the stations have received official approval from the Railway Board, they will get more facilities for commuters,” said AK Singh, public relations officer, Central Railway.
Umbarmali and Thansit railway stations come between Atgaon and Kasara railway stations. Read More…
