The Union Railway Minister, Suresh Prabhu will flag off several long distance trains and announce new initiatives today on the central railway. A new fully unreserved train named Antyodaya Express consisting of 22 coaches will arrive at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 3.30 pm on Saturday and will reach Tatanagar at 8:30pm on Sunday. It is a bi-weekly train and will run till Tatanagar and return.
The minister will also be inaugurating a ‘Make in India’ train which is equipped with modular roof and forced ventilation system which would supply more air into the passenger area. The central railway officials also said that the foundation stone would be laid for the construction of the fourth line between Bhusaval and Jalgaon. Read More…
