The 200 MW grid-connected solar capacity has been tendered under type-I category of Uttarakhand Solar Energy Policy-2013 (amended in 2018), and on behalf of Uttarakhand Power Corporation Ltd (UPCL), Dehradun.
The scope of work includes development, finance, ownership, design, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance of the project. UREDA will support setting up of the aggregate capacity if established in hilly region of Uttarakhand for the direct sale of power to UPCL.
