The newly launched Vande Bharat Express is the costliest-ever train on the Katra-Delhi route with no concessional ticket allowed in it. Of all 15 trains available on the Delhi-Katra route, which connects the base camp of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine to the country’s capital city, Vande Bharat Express is the most expensive train ever.
India’s fastest train was inaugurated by Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi on October 4 as a symbol of “journey towards the development in Jammu and Kashmir”.
