Amid growing tension between India and Pakistan, the Centre on Tuesday said it wanted the height of the fence guarding Attari railway station near the international border to be increased from the present nine feet to at least 20 feet.
The security concerns about the railway station and the Samjhauta Express were shared at a meeting between officers of the railway ministry, Intelligence Bureau (IB) and Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan police.
