Global Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) company Black & Veatch today announced it has appointed Rajiv Menon as new Managing Director for its India business.
Menon has held senior positions in Asian and European companies for over two decades in areas including commercial and business development, project management and control, financial management, corporate communications, risk management and strategy and business advisory projects.
Menon had joined Black & Veatch in 2013 as Executive Director, Commercial and Business Development. The company is currently present in infrastructure projects in oil and gas, power, telecom and water sectors. Menon holds chemical engineering and financial management degrees from Indian universities.
“Our expertise lies in energy, water and telecommunications infrastructure. So, programmes like Gas4India, Swachh Bharat and Smart Cities Mission mean we are excellently placed to support India’s progress. To lead the business at this significant stage in the country’s development is both a great privilege and opportunity,” Menon said.
The company said its major projects include Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) receiving terminals for Swan LNG at Jafrabad and Indian Oil Corp (IOCL) at Ennore. Black & Veatch is also providing consultancy services for Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai’s (MCGM) Malad zone wastewater treatment facility.
