The Agra Municipal Corporation (AMC) ahead of Diwali will install 1,000 LEDstreet lights in the city. Each of the 100 municipal wards in the city will be provided LED lighting facility at 10 points. Councilors have been asked to indenting new points and submit details in mayor’s office. Meanwhile, some of the councilors are having objections on the letter issued by private secretary of mayor Naveen Jain.
In the letter, mayor Naveen Jain has informed councilors about the street light installation plan ahead of Diwali. The mayor has asked councilors to identify 10 points in their wards where street lighting arrangements are required.
