Owing to the flood situation in the North East, the Railway Authorities are taking extra precautions and have cancelled 24 trains going to North-Eastern parts of India. Out of which, many have been cancelled till September 14.
The express trains, originating in North Eastern States and bound for the south along with those going in the return direction have been cancelled between September 8 and 16 in view of heavy rains, causing breaches.
However, special trains have been arranged for the passengers to destinations between Kanyakumari and Santragachhi to clear the rush. Read More…
