In an effort to dissuade 5 lakh coal worker from observing a three-day strike from June 19, the coal secretary has called a meeting with four of the five central trade unions of Coal India and Singareni Colliery, this week, leaving out INTUC from the meeting.
The agenda of the meeting involves discussion on merger of the coal workers’ provident fund with the Employees’ Provident Fund. Read more
