For expeditious redressal of grievances of railway pensioners/family pensioners, Mysuru division of the South Western Railway (SWR), on Wednesday held a midterm pension adalat.
About 32 grievances of pensioners/family pensioners were resolved while the remaining nine cases will be disposed off shortly, a press release stated here.
Speaking on the occasion, Atul Gupta, Divisional Railway Manager, South Western Railway, Mysuru division, assured that all grievances of the pensioners will be attended to on priority so that the pensioners/family pensioners need not have to be in any kind of anxiety.
Officials of the State Bank of India and the President of Railway Pensioners’ Welfare Association, Mysuru, were also in attendance to provide clarifications on doubts raised by pensioners and family pensioners.
Next adalat in December
The next pension adalat will be held in December this year.
The representations relating to issues connected with payment and disbursement of pension and family pension can be sent well in advance for examination by the authorities concerned.
