In another incident of train mishap, the engine and two bogies of the Hyderabad-Aurangabad Express derailed in Karnataka near Bidar region.
The incident took place at around 2 am on Friday, and supervisors reached the spot immediately to inspect the situation and supervise the transfer of passengers from the bogies safely.
An investigation has been ordered to find why the incident took place.
This is the second such incident this month, with the previous one happening just a few days back on April 15.
The Indian Railways, in its renewed budget, has promised to address the issue of increasing cases of train mishaps, but results have not been witnessed as the string of train mishaps continue consistently on a monthly basis. Read More…
