Modernisation of Habibganj station picks up pace

The ambitious plan proposed by railway minister Suresh Prabhu has picked up pace in Bhopal, as Habibganj is set to become country’s first privately run railway station. Incidentally, Habibganj was also one of the first stations in the country to have an ISO certification (ISO 9001-2000) back in 2008, and now with the redevelopment plan it will have world class amenities under one roof. While the private-firm is confident that we will soon have a glitzy railway experience, citizens are not able to make up their minds as to how beneficial would this be to the general populace.
