The railway megablock in Mumbai on Sunday, June 25 will go on for at least 6 hours at the Central railway line. All the six lines between Dombivili and Kalyan will have a power block. This block will start at 9.10 am and end at 3.20 pm. The Central Railway has planned this block to complete the construction of a road overbridge at Thakurli on Sunday. At last 120 local services will be cancelled between this given time.
The services will be suspended from 9.10 am to 12.50 am on up and down fast line. But the services on slow track is extended to 3.20 pm. On the other hand, the harbour and trans-harbour services trains will function as per their normal services. On the Central line, trains between Ambernath and Vangani will be cancelled between 9.30 am to 2.00 am for the purpose of rebuilding a bridge in the Ambernath-Badlapur station. Read More…
