The oil marketing cos have given in to the demands raised by petrol pump dealers, and raised their commissions by up to almost 45% for petrol and 60% for diesel. The dealers have been threatening to go on strike since mid June i.e. ever since the OMCs started changing fuel prices on a daily basis.
Dealers have alleged high inventory losses of over Rs 400 cr, and blamed that on the daily revision of prices. Read More…
