Country’s largest oil refining and marketing company, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOC) announced a cut in the prices of petrol and diesel across the country.
To be effective from the midnight of 15th / 16th July, the pump price of petrol in Delhi (including state levies) has been cut by Rs. 2.25/litre (including State levies) with corresponding price reduction in other States.
With this change, the price of Petrol in Delhi will become Rs. 62.51/litre.
The pump price of Diesel in Delhi has been reduced by Rs. 0.42/litre at Delhi (including State levies) with corresponding price cuts in other States.
With this change, the price of Diesel in Delhi will become Rs. 54.28/litre.

The statement added that movement of prices in the international oil market and INR-USD exchange rate shall continue to be monitored closely and developing trends of the market will be reflected in future price changes.
