Road project to decongest central Delhi scrapped: Top government official

A major road project to decongest the entire central Delhi area including the busy ITO intersection has hit an apparent railblock.

The railways and other land-owning agencies have denied permission to the Delhi government for constructing the elevated east-west corridor that would have connected Anand Vihar to Punjabi Bagh.
