Suzlon’s Arm Exits Brazilian Market

Suzlon Energy Ltd has said on Friday that it has filed voluntary liquidation of its Brazilian subsidiary Suzlon Energia Eolica do Brasilia Ltda. (SEOB).

SEOB was established to manage opportunities in Brazil in 2006. The company took this decision by considering all the consequences of multiple factors that are unique to Brazil.

Meanwhile, on bourses, the stock closed in a negative territory slipping 1.0% at Rs 18.90 per share on Friday.

Suzlon Energy Limited is a provider of renewable energy solutions. The company is a producer of wind turbines. It offers a range of solar energy solutions, such as solar irradiance assessment, land acquisition and approvals, infrastructure and power evacuation, supply chain, installation and commission, etc.
